There is nothing more spectacular than the sunset in El Nido as it is viewed from a lounge chair in Corong-Corong. About 10 minutes away from the Town Proper, this coastal village features three areas to catch this sublime experience. The most loved vantage point is Marimegmeg Beach, which is lined with coconut trees, hip bars, and restaurants facing the island-studded Bacuit Bay.
Also great for sunset watching is Corong-Corong Beach, a thin strip of long beach dotted mostly with budget accommodations and bars. On higher ground along the coastal road, there are some cool hangouts overlooking this incredible bay view as well.
Other than sunset watching and swimming, three equally thrilling activities in Corong-Corong are kayaking to Seven Commandos Beach and Papaya Beach, going on a Mystic Mangrove Tour, and ziplining to Depledet Islet.
Come the night of the full moon, people flock to Corong-Corong for the monthly Full Moon Party. Part of the scene are local and international DJs mixing some beats to keep the party going until dawn. Do swing by if you want to make new friends, try a variety of cocktails, or just feel out the party from the moonlit white beach.

How To Get There
From the Town Proper, you can get to Corong-Corong by tricycle for P150 per ride, or P50 per person if more than three people. If commuting is not your thing, you can always rent a motorbike or scooter to explore this paradise.
Near the Town Proper across the public market is El Nido Transport Terminal, where you can hop on a bus or van going to Taytay, Port Barton, and Puerto Princesa, or get onto a jeepney going to other destinations in El Nido.
